I’ve been in North Carolina for 22 years, since 1996. I came here for a job. I was working overseas at the time, in Belgium at the Supreme Headquarters Allied Powers Europe as a teacher for our military dependents. Being there was very special. We were there when the first Gulf War happened and I got to see the military do what the military does. They are people we can be proud of as Americans.
My 44 year career in education really started overseas, teaching the children of our military. My experiences gave me a great appreciation for the men and women that serve our military. I support legislation that supports them. If you care share this post.
